HoAutoslidever, just like any automatic swipe card security entrances, it does not take into consideration that unwanted animals could be stalking closely behind your pet as they enter. The smart k9 tag set is an add-on accessory to your existing auto slide unit. Simply synchronize the pet collar key sensor to your auto slide unit and program the pet mode opening and viola. You now have an automatic sliding pet door. The smart k9 tag sensor only needs to be mounted on one side of the door. When the auto slide system is set on pet mode, the sensor will activate your sliding door to the pet open width when a smart pet tag is within the area of detection. The area of detection has three distance settings: 3, 6 and 10 ft. These can be changed using the button on the smart k9 tag. Only pets Autoslidearing the smart k9 tag will be able to activate the sensor. For those with more than two pets, additional smart k9 tags can be purchased separately.
